Commission Your Own Haven
A commission begins with a conversation — about the story, the room it'll live in, the feeling it should hold. Each commission is one-of-a-kind, designed for the person it's for.
How it works
- Begin with a message. Use the form above and choose "A commission inquiry." Tell Emy what you're imagining — even if it's only a feeling or a fragment.
- A conversation. Emy will write back within a few days. We'll talk through scale, scope, materials, lighting, and what the piece should hold.
- A sketch + estimate. Once we've talked, Emy will send a rough sketch and a price + timeline. No commitment until you say yes.
- Deposit + crafting. A 50% deposit secures your spot in the queue. Most commissions take 4–10 weeks depending on complexity.
- Final approval + shipping. Photos before shipping. Final payment when you're ready. Then your haven travels to you, packed by hand and insured.
Pricing
Commissions start around $400 and can range much higher depending on size, materials, and complexity. Most fall between $600 and $1,800. Lighting, motion, and bespoke materials add cost; small unlit pieces are the most affordable entry.

Commission slots
Emy takes a small number of commissions per quarter to keep the work careful. Current availability is shared via the Firelight Council newsletter and on Instagram.
If the queue is full when you reach out, Emy will tell you honestly and let you know when the next slot opens.
